Scroggs Interpreters and Translators was founded over 15 years ago by Carla Scroggs, M.D., Certified Medical Interpreters. Originally trained as a general surgeon in Venezuela, Carla Scroggs earned her medical degree before relocating to the U.S., where she worked as a postdoctoral researcher of Neuroscience and Electrophysiology at the University of Tennessee.

Driven by a deep interest in cultural connection and the evolving role of technology in communication, she transitioned into medical interpretation and became nationally certified by the National Board of Certification for Medical Interpreters.

Today, she leads Scroggs Interpreters and Translators as CEO, delivering trusted language solutions to clients across the country.
